George Fisher Underground Zinc Mine HV Infrastructure

HV electrical Network loadflow, voltage stability and planning studies including both primary and secondary system design for a underground zinc mine expansion in Far North QLD. Works extended to contract procurement of all electrical plant including Contractors for construction of 3 bay 25MVA 132/11kV substation and 12km of 33kV and 5km of 132kV overhead powerline.   Represented Client as Owners Engineer throughout the entire construction and commissioning works and attended both factory and site acceptance testing of all electrical plant.
