· Business Cases for Network Connections

AZCIG can assist with development of Business Cases for the connection of any size/ type of load or for new generation plant, including renewable energy systems, fringe-of-grid micro-generation systems, etc to the regulated electricity network. This includes development and analysis of technical options, commercial assessments for whole-of-life operation of the plant/equipment, development of asset maintenance and management plans using PAS 55 framework. AZCIG’s team develop solutions that meet the requirements of the National Electricity Law and Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO).


· Power Purchase Agreements and Tariffs

AZCIG’s team have worked with the Developers of large-scale renewable energy systems to assist in negotiations of Power Purchase Agreements with Authorised Electricity Retailers, understanding that the security of future revenue streams can be critical to the economic viability of this type of project. Further, AZCIG has broad experience in the application of regulated Retail and Network tariffs and can provide services to analyse and recommend the most appropriate tariffs for new installations, or to aid in negotiation of competitive tariffs rates in the contestable Retail energy market.
